Our Spanish-speaking client fell from the roof of a commercial building while working for a plumbing contractor. In addition to pursuing a workers’ compensation claim, our client filed a personal injury suit against the property owner, property manager, and the tenant undergoing the renovations. The tenant then sued the general contractor as a third-party defendant. Remaining facts related to the fall and the parties are confidential by agreement.
Craig Davis’s client was hospitalized after the fall. He later underwent two shoulder surgeries and a L4-S1 lumbar fusion surgery. He was unable to return to work as a plumber’s helper after his fall. The case settled 10 months after a mediation through the continued efforts of the mediator.
